How Our Balayage Service Works

Every balayage starts with a 10 to 15 minute consult. We look at your natural base, your past color history, your hair texture, and your real-life maintenance window. A client who can come in every 8 weeks gets a different placement than someone who wants to stretch to 16.

Application takes 2 to 4 hours depending on length and density. We use VISH technology to weigh product, which means your invoice matches the work and there are no surprise upcharges. After processing, we tone, gloss, cut, and style. You walk out finished.

For a sun-kissed Juno Beach look, we usually keep the painting soft around the face and brighter through the mid-lengths. Heavy money pieces look great in photos but grow out fast. Soft, painterly placement is what stretches the appointment window. More on our balayage approach here.

Take US-1 north out of Juno Beach. You'll pass through Jupiter, cross the Loxahatchee River bridge, and continue into Tequesta. Turn right onto Tequesta Drive. We're at 365 Tequesta Dr, just past the village shops on your right. Plan on 15 minutes outside of season. Free parking on site.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often do I need a balayage touch-up?

Most of our clients come back every 10 to 14 weeks for a full touch-up, with a gloss in between. If you swim daily, plan a gloss at the 6-week mark.

Will balayage damage my hair?

Balayage uses lightener, so there's always some lift involved. We use bond-building products during and after the service to protect the cuticle. Damage usually comes from doing balayage on top of old box dye, which is why we consult first.

Can I do balayage on dark hair?

Yes. Dark hair often takes a couple of sessions to reach a brighter end goal safely. We map that out at the consult so you know the timeline and budget before we touch your hair.

What's the difference between balayage and highlights?

Highlights are foiled in a section pattern. Balayage is hand-painted freeform. Highlights tend to look more uniform. Balayage tends to look softer and more lived-in.
