The Balayage Appointment, Step by Step

Every balayage starts with a 15-minute consultation. We look at your hair in natural light, ask about your sun exposure (huge factor for Loxahatchee clients), and pull a placement plan. Most balayage appointments take three to four hours. Color correction or first-time bleach work can run five to six.

Pricing for balayage runs $375 to $450 depending on density, length, and stylist level. The price includes the lightener, the custom toner, a bond-building treatment, and a finish blow-dry. Getting Here from Loxahatchee

From most of Loxahatchee, head east on Northlake Boulevard. Continue past Beeline Highway and the Florida's Turnpike entrance. Get on I-95 north and exit at Indiantown Road (exit 87A). Turn east toward Tequesta. After about three miles, turn left on Old Dixie Highway, then right on Tequesta Drive. We're on the left at 365 Tequesta Drive. If you're coming from the northern end near Caloosa, take Beeline northeast directly to PGA Boulevard, then I-95 north. Free parking out front.

How does Florida sun affect my balayage?

UV exposure pulls warm tones forward. If you ride or run trails outside, your blonde will go gold faster than someone who works indoors. We adjust the toner formula to start cooler, and we recommend a purple shampoo once a week and a UV-protectant spray during summer.

Can I get balayage if my hair is already box-color or previously highlighted?

Yes, most of the time. We'll do a strand test at consultation to see how the existing color lifts. If it pulls warm, we may recommend a color correction first. We never bleach over uneven tone without a plan.

How long does the appointment take?

Plan three to four hours for a standard balayage. Bring a book or your laptop. We have wifi and we don't rush.
